FAQs

Shipping

Where is my order?

Oremme is made-to-order and every piece requires a lead time of 6 weeks. Some items, like chains and huggies, are ready to ship in 3 to 4 days. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via your email on file. Make sure your Oremme emails aren’t going to spam to be sure you don’t miss any updates.

Why hasn't my order shipped yet?

Oremme offers two types of products: ready-to-wear and made-to-order. Our ready-to-wear items are in stock and will ship 3-4 days after you’ve placed your order. All made-to-order pieces are crafted in 4 to 6 weeks.

How is my order shipped?

All orders are shipped insured and tracked with FedEx 2-Day. Orders may take longer to arrive in Canada. You will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number as soon as your item ships.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is complimentary, just as it should be.

Will I be charged with duties and taxes?

Canadian deliveries may incur duties. Oremme is not responsible for the duties owed. Relevant taxes will be displayed at checkout.

Return Policy

What's your return policy?

Made-to-order items are final sale. We are happy to offer a one-time, complimentary resizing of rings. Ready-to-ship items such as huggies and chains are eligible for store credit or exchange only. To request an exchange, please email hello@oremme.com within 14 days of receiving your item(s) along with your order number. You are responsible for returning your package safely to our facility. We recommend shipping with tracking and insurance in the event your package is lost.

Sizing

How do I know my finger size?

Oremme ring sizes follow the US/CAN Standard guidelines. For the most accurate sizing, we recommend stopping into your jeweller to be sized. Alternatively, you can follow our guidelines.

My size isn't listed, can you help?

If your size isn't listed, simply choose the closest size available and then leave an order note with your desired size.

Product Care

How do I take care of my jewelry?

Each product requires a little bit of love for a lifetime of wear. When you’re not wearing your jewelry, store it in a safe place like its jewelry box or soft pouch.

14k Gold

Solid gold is a precious metal that will not tarnish or discolor. Solid gold can be worn anytime, anywhere, which means you can sleep, shower, and sweat in your pieces. To care for your gold, brush lightly with a toothbrush and warm water from time to time.

Diamonds

As one of the hardest natural substances on earth, diamonds can withstand 24/7 wear. To keep your diamonds brilliant, brush lightly with a toothbrush, warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

Gemstones

Oremme uses a rainbow of precious stones including sapphire, ruby, emerald, blue topaz, citrine, amethyst.  Precious stones are softer than diamonds and should be removed during showering, exercise, or any other rough hand work. Precious stones are also heat and chemical sensitive, so make sure to remove your pieces before hot showers, applying lotions, or using cleaning products. To clean your gemstones, brush lightly with a toothbrush and warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

Do you have a warranty?

We offer a 1-year warranty that covers damage to the material or the workmanship of the jewelry occurs, like a dropped stone. We do not cover normal wear and tear, lost jewelry, or requested modifications.

Where is your jewelry made?

Oremme is made in New York City. Some items, like chains and huggies, are sourced from Italy. You can always find product material and origin listed in each description.

Are your diamonds conflict-free?

Yes, the diamonds in Oremme’s collection are sourced in accordance with the UN’s Kimberley Process. Furthermore, Oremme exclusively uses repurposed diamonds.

Is gold scratching normal?

Gold is a soft material that will scratch and scuff with wear, and this is completely normal (and unavoidable). Fresh pieces will be glossy and with time will develop a beautiful patina.

Can I take my piece to another jeweler for reworking or repair?

Once your piece has been modified or repaired by a third party jeweler, Oremme will no longer be responsible for refunds or replacements.

Custom

Can I design something custom?

At Oremme we can happily customize existing designs or create something new together. Custom endeavors start at $1,500 USD for the design fee, plus the price of materials. To get started, email hello@oremme.com.

Can I bring a stone to you?

Working with heirloom stones is our honor. To get started, email hello@oremme.com.

Sezzle

What is Sezzle?

Sezzle is an online payment option that allows you to pay for your payment in four interest-free payments.

Does it cost me more?

There are no additional fees or interest if you choose to pay with Sezzle.

What if I can't make a payment?

If you can't make a payment on an order, Sezzle will let you reschedule a payment for free. If you need to make further reschedules, each one will be assessed a $5 fee.

If a payment does fail, usually due to a card being canceled or there not being enough funds available in your account at the time, a $10 failed payment fee will be added on to that payment. This is separate from any overdraft fees your bank may charge you. Sezzle will send you text and email notifications to make sure you're never surprised, and if you get the failed payment resolved within 48 hours of it failing, we'll even waive that fee.

Once a fee has been paid, there is no way to reverse it.

Does Sezzle perform a credit check?

Sezzle completes what’s known as a “soft check,” which means they take a look at your credit score as part of their risk check, but this doesn’t have an impact on your credit score.

Can I contact Sezzle?

Of course. For help, contact their support team online, or call them at +1-888-540-1867.

Sezzle is available from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST, M-F.
